Creating Change: Strategies That Work.
A research-based training solution that successfully uproots entrenched habits, drives sustained improvement and executes change initiatives.
Influencer training® draws on the best practices of the world’s best change agents and on five decades of social-science research to create a powerful model for changing behavior.
Change for Good
Each day, every hospital shift provides opportunities for staff to influence patients, co-workers and members of the ancillary team. We struggle to motivate one another to change habits, the organizational culture and ourselves. Although we’re routinely trying to help our patients and our work team alter their behaviors, few of us can articulate a model of what works. Training creates a powerful and portable model for changing behaviors — a model anyone can learn and apply.
You Will Learn
Influencer training® will teach you to:
- analyze the real causes behind problems and create real solutions
- identify high-leverage behaviors that, if changed, will lead to desired results
- learn to motivate others to alter their behavior and rely less on formal authority
- use the Influencer Model to develop and apply an influence strategy from small- to large-scale cultural transformations
Who Needs Influencer Training®?
Influencer training® is beneficial to hospital employees. Hospital executives, managers and primary caregivers gain skills to make profound and sustainable positive changes within their team and organization. Influencer training® has been approved by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses for 13.5 contact hours, Category 0, file number 00013715.
Registration
Enroll in this two-day workshop to create a healthier, safer environment for you and your patients. You must be an employee of a hospital in the Kansas City metropolitan area to participate in this program. If you have questions, contact Kathy Nadlman at knadlman@aol.com or 913/681-5525.
The cost to attend is $99, which includes all materials and lunches. The registration fee covers only a small
portion of the workshop. Program administrator is the Full Employment Council.
This grant requires participants to provide a copy of their driver’s license and Social Security cards when they attend the workshops. Individuals who do not provide these documents can still attend the workshops, but they will need to pay a $300 registration fee because grant funding cannot be used to cover their registration fees.
